As a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) must be confirmed by a psychiatrist, the educational psychologist will, if deemed necessary following the assessment, provide a referral letter to facilitate further follow-up with a private doctor or public hospital. In the interim, parents may submit the assessment report to the school to enable the child to receive appropriate learning support as early as possible.
