Forming by a combination of professions, from social workers to teachers and special needs specialists, our team is qualified from Bachelor to Doctorate holders. We are experienced in working with children from both local and international schools, with or without special educational needs, Gifted. We work closely with parents and professionals.

Twiggy Chan
Director

Ms. Chan is currently a part-time lecturer conducting teacher-training at local universities, she is specialized in identifying different learning needs and strategies suitable for children. Ms. Chan has rich teaching experience in universities, international schools, local schools and a special education center. Ms. Chan is the founding member of Special Interest Group for School Guidance, Life Skills and Career Development in Faculty of Education Centre for Advancement of Inclusive and Special Education (HKU). Ms. Chan is frequently invited to speak and share at seminars organized by universities, NGOs and schools.

Elsa Shum
Head of Operation

Ms. Shum is enthusiatic in mental health. She has worked as a registered psychiatric nurse for more than 24 years and has served at the Rehabilitation Services at Integrated Community Centre for Mental Wellness (ICCMW), Mental Health Direct 24-hour Advisory Unit, Kwai Chung Hospital, Siu Lam Hospital, University of Hong Kong Psychiatric Unit, as well as numerous disabled homes and healthcare centres. Ms. Shum has been invited to speak and share at seminars organized by various NGOs and schools.

Carmen Hong
Head of Learning Support
Ms. Carmen is passionate in working and counseling students with Special Educational Needs. She has experiences in supporting students with learning difficulties from local primary and secondary schools to learn. She can understand and respond to difficulties that students encounter, emotionally and academically, with empathy. Ms. Carmen aims in fostering a fun and positive learning environment for students to receive the support they need in order to grow as an individual learner.

Maggie Liu
Chinese Learning Support Instructor
Ms. Maggie is passionate about teaching students with Special Educational Needs, especially in teaching Chinese. She has extensive experience in supporting students with learning difficulties in local and international schools to learn Chinese. She is committed to making Chinese enjoyable for students from local and international schools who find learning Chinese challenging, enhancing their confidence, and enabling students to become independent learners through lively, interesting and systematic teaching strategies.

Amy Cheung
Chinese Learning Support Instructor
Ms Amy has extensive experience in teaching students with special educational needs. She excels at observing and attentively addressing their individual needs, adapting and employing diverse teaching methods to help students grasp the learning content more easily. This approach enhances their interest and confidence in learning.

Rabia Batool
English Learning Support Instructor
Miss Rabia is highly enthusiastic and eager to help children with special needs. She tailors her teaching with great creative and critical ability, enabling her students to have a fun and engaging learning experience. She wishes to excel as an instructor who is able to make a difference in the lives of her students—one who is able to leverage their strengths to help bridge the gaps in their learning abilities.

Yoyo Chan
English and Mathematics Learning Support Instructor
Miss Yoyo is enthusiastic about teaching students with special educational needs. She observes and listens to the students’ learning needs in English and mathematics. She uses interactive activities and systematic teaching approach to help students grasp each learning concept. She aims to build students’ confidence in their learning so that they can learn independently.

Dr. Chiu has over 30 years of experience in teacher education, encompassing lecturing, practicum supervision, and research. She specializes in education for students with autism/intellectual disability, inclusive education, and special education. She previously served as the principal of a special school for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, she provided school-based consultancy for teachers to support students with autism/ADHD/intellectual disability —four years with Hong Kong Education Bureau and more than ten years with Education University of Hong Kong. Dr. Chiu has also worked extensively with schools, NGOs, and parent organizations in Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangzhou, offering consultancy, teacher training, curriculum design and implementation, public lectures, and case support for individuals with autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability.
Mrs. B Ashok

Mrs. Ashok is an enthusiastic and hardworking English teacher who enjoys helping students learn in a fun way, thereby improving their skills, knowledge and confidence. Having been the Panel Chairperson of well-known primary school English Department for 26 years, she is constantly evolving by introducing innovative teaching methods and tools to help solve students' learning difficulties. Her experience as a member and adjudicator of Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association (HKSMSA) and Textbook Review Panel Adviser for Education Department Bureau (EDB) allows her to understand the needs of all her students. Mrs. Ashok always makes sure her classes are exciting, entertaining and educational.

Dr. Elaine Kwong is a part-time lecturer in the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, The University of Hong Kong and a guest lecturer in the Department of Special Education and Counselling, The Hong Kong Institute of Education. She is a speech therapist specializes in voice therapy. She had worked as a speech therapist in a local special school for physically handicapped. Dr. Kwong had also provided speech therapy services to students studying in a number of mainstream primary and secondary schools.
Mr. William Ma

Mr. Ma is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology of the University of Hong Kong. He has some 30 years of experiences working in the capacity of an educational psychologist serving children and adolescents in schools. He has also served for many years as a trainer and clinical supervisor to both serving educational psychologists and those in training.
